Do you know a Ramen restaurant in Delft that is always crowded with Ramen lovers and Japanese people ? Today I’d like to introduce you to the most delicious Ramen restaurant in the Netherlands and definitely the most popular among Japanese people.
Ramen Nikkou
Ramen NIKKOU in Delft is the most popular place for Ramen among Japanese people living in the Netherlands. Their main restaurant is in Hikone (Shiga Prefecture – Japan), and they offer the same quality of Ramens in the Netherlands as they do in Japan. You can easily find their location as there is almost all the time a line a persons waiting outside, by the old townscape along the canal. In Amsterdam, the average price for Ramen is around 17 to 20 euros, but NIKKOU’s Ramen costs around 14 to 15 euros. Maybe it’s because of the location, but it’s delicious and affordable.

You can pick of large portion of noodles for the same price.
There is always a line even if you arrive at the opening time, so I recommend going a little early.
My favorite is their “Tsukemen”
I have eaten all types of NIKKOU Ramens. I love all of them, but I especially love their Tsukemen.

The soup has a sweet and sour taste with a soy sauce flavour. As for the noodles, they are the same as traditional Ramen noodles, slippery but chewy, which makes them easy to eat and go well with the soup. There aren’t many restaurants that sell delicious Tsukemen in the Netherlands, so if you’re craving Tsukemen, I recommend NIKKOU.
